It scares me that we may never compete with the top of the conference again, but it scares me even more that we may drop to the bottom of the conference with Vandy.
VN: I’ve been given an opportunity for something that I’ve really felt compelled from the LORD to do- mission work. So in October, I will be going to Kahuria, Kenya with 410 Bridge to serve! The purpose of the mission trip is to continue establishing the church in Kahuria, whether that be leading youth in classes, building relationships with the people, worshipping, or leading the community of Kahuria to Jesus.
Above everything, I’m asking for your prayerful support for this mission! Part of the trip is to raise funds as well, so if you would like to help this mission work and donate to my trip, you may do so at this link: Focus
You can donate anonymously or however you would like. Thank you, above all, for your prayers. I cannot wait for this trip and to watch the LORD move! Thanks!
Do you think this will benefit us?You now have what can only be described as sub contractors playing a sport for Public and Private Universities that offer that sport. Schools with big money donors, alumni and connections to large corporations are now going to buy their schools a competitive team, one way or another. Many will be surprised in the near future as to the new teams which will have a monetary edge.

Thanks for the advice!Kenya is a very Wild West place.
Be sure to keep your head down. I suggest watching some YouTube videos on “personnel recovery” meaning basically being able to survive and make it to an area where you can be recovered by Embassy or Military personnel.
Always have a plan and never allow yourself to be complacent. I understand it’s for Missionary work but that doesn’t mean you can’t have an idea of how you would treat each situation in order to survive by evasion etc. (Might be a stretch but I suggest to always have a SAT phone available)
I hope you have a blast. Just trying to have your back as much as I can.

Could have been Oda...So, my wife read me this from a female physician help forum:
My 3 year old son is chewing on electronics charging cables. What should I do?
Immediate response: Ground him until he conducts himself in a more appropriate manner.
My first thought is how did A VN chucklehead hack into that forum…
