Would’ve been a home run hire and I don’t like the guy either. Not sure how it would’ve held up when the wins didn’t immediate measure up to the contract. This fanbase can be extra touchy on that front.

He’s got legit star power. He can recruit and scheme. That doesn’t guarantee success and long term fit, but his hire would have been acclaimed by everyone outside of the program…not a bully point necessarily.

I agree it would have been viewed as good hire especially if he was stolen from Penn St. So glad it did not happen.
