One guy I wish I was old enough to grow up watching. He was straight filthy.
Try being old enough to remember Curt Watson as the featured back. lol Blessed to say though that I have witnessed in person many great backs for us from Watson, Stanback, Cobb, Webb, Garner, Stewart, Lewis, , Henry etc. But got just as much enjoyment watching our defense plaster and bury Bo Jackson as well!

Haskell Stanback was the first back I remember cheering for. I recall him being very good.

Mahatma Gandhi was a peculiar person. He walked barefoot everywhere, to the point that his feet became quite thick and hard. He often went on hunger strikes, and even when he wasn't on a hunger strike, he did not eat much and became quite thin and frail. He also was a very spiritual person. Finally, because he didn't eat much and when he did his diet was peculiar, he developed very bad breath.

This made him A: super-calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

First world problem question: I recently cut the cord and just have a few of the streaming options on my fire stick. It’s a pain quickly switching back and forth between the apps if I want to watch something else. I love flipping back and forth between games in the fall. Anyone come up with a solution to this besides pissing my wife off with multiple TVs?

YouTube TV.

Guess it depends on the history of how a word has previously been used, as to how they will perceive you using it. Even if you didn't mean anything by it, "Jap" has often been used in a derogatory way in the past. And sometimes there's just not a clear answer either, like "are you Jewish" vs "are you a Jew"...mileage may vary depending on the person or context.

Thank you for this. Context matters, people

I do, but just barely. Watson, Bobby Scott, Lester McClain, Hacksaw, Kiner are some of the earliest names I remember. A lot of fond family memories throughout the years.

I could just imagine Texas fans wearing OK shirts just to do it. Wow, it's like they want everyone to get on the field and hug each other between plays. 😖
Wait! What did McGill have to say about this lol.
Can't say that I know specifically, but I bet some of the words were "stupid", "hate', "crap", "dumb", "quit watching"...among others. ;)

How is the Gator chomp not taunting when Florida does it?

Not taunting? Idk I remember John Kelly got flagged for it once.

It's been called with Horns Down before too (directed at the crowd) when David Sills did it. Under some auspice of "intimidating the crowd" and putting the spotlight on himself...😭

Basically it's all about intent...length of time...probably after a TD when everyone is looking at just you doesn't help.

This is how the B12 refs describe it anyway...using "probably"...

Directed at crowd and short - probably not a penalty

Directed at a player or for an extended time - probably a penalty

There was this witch doctor... he walked everywhere he went, giving him rough calluses on his feet. Poor guy was also cursed with bad breath every time he ate. Reluctant to eat anything, he became quite frail..

You see... he was a super calloused fragile mystic hexed with halitosis. 🙃

we do this every time

Sounds like an excellent way for the refs to affect the outcome of the game if one of the cash cows is up against the ropes.
