Just went to my first MLB game a couple weeks ago in Cincy. They were playing the Padres and came back to beat them in bottom of the 9th. It was an excellent experience, just thought I’d share...

I don’t like to laugh at old people like InVol, slow reflexes. If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?
I mean, other than old people like @InVOLuntary ....
Yeah, that series stunk, they were rolling. Thanks for sharing - you had great seats. Been to GABP several times. They keep making improvements. One of the easier parks to get into with plenty of parking areas nearby and stuff to do. To age myself, I grew up going to games at the old Crosley Field with my dad back when they had the terrace instead of the warning track in the outfield.
The AS break has set them back. They were on a roll until it. Came back and got swept at home by the Brewers.
Yeah, that series stunk, they were rolling.
Also hit their Hall of Fame, really impressive.
Definitely need another arm in the bullpen. Bats are good. They have done things right with facilities and the area's development. Need to keep a competitive team on the field. This one's talented but had too many injuries and a crappy pen much of the season. Hopefully they get some guys back and figure it out. FWIW Senzel is taking reps at SS in his rehab. So he will be available for CF, 3B, 2B, and SS when he returns.
Back when they were rolling with Scott Rollin, Brandon Phillips. Jim Rome said an anonymous player told him Votto was a guy that zero interest in hanging out with the team. They called him table for one . I have been there many times. Life long Reds fan. I got tickets on first base line front row because Jr liked Votto. Reds were warming up and he was like 5 feet away from us. Would not acknowledge Jr begging for an autograph. Brandon Phillips came over and signed Jr’s Votto jersey.Paint me ignorant, I don’t know much about the team, what’s the story?
Hate to hear that. I guess it’s because he’s Canadian lolBack when they were rolling with Scott Rollin, Brandon Phillips. I get they get people begging for their time and attention. Probably could get old. Brandon Phillips was the man though. Super star who acted genuine and down to earth. Jr was a little guy at the time. We went and bought Phillips jersey before we left the stadiumHate to hear that. I guess it’s because he’s Canadian lol
