I get they get people begging for their time and attention. Probably could get old. Brandon Phillips was the man though. Super star who acted genuine and down to earth. Jr was a little guy at the time. We went and bought Phillips jersey before we left the stadium

BP and Bronson Arroyo were my faves from back then. BP would give Votto shiz during most games - trash talk him the whole game. They would pick it up on the mic when it was clean enough to show on TV.

Little known facts from back in the day. My high school guidance counselor and baseball coach was a drinking buddy of Pete's and several guys on the Reds back in the early 60's and 70's. He was from Loveland, just north of Cincy, where Pete was from. A couple of us on our HS team may or may not have paid a visit to the bar where they hung out one evening. They wouldn't serve us though. Bummer.

My family and friends also ate frequently at the steakhouse in Franklin which was in the same building and below the gambling joint Pete used for some of his betting that came out during the investigation. Everybody knew.

This will all change soon. IMO

Is March Madness going to decline? That is 90% of their revenues apparently.

They may actually cut staff if they end up sending more responsibilities to the conferences and universities. Which just means higher margins and sending more money (60%) back to their members (the universities).

Oops you don't have you adult diapers, or oops you just pooped yourself again?

Or both?
If you are over 60, sharting doesn’t count.
You are allowed one shart per day to go unquestioned by those around you.
But two sharts or more require you to wear an adult diaper or enter a retirement living facility.

I had a protein shake earlier and immediately after let one rip without any concern. It was almost a mistake. Ever happen to you @nicksjuzunk

Conferences seem likely to oversee themselves and I think it's a very real possibility that each sport will have it's own governing body.

Mark Emmert has already indicated the NCAA as a bureaucracy will have to take a step back partly because local laws will be different across the country. Lawyers will always be involved of course, just as dogs will always have fleas.

Agree with all of that. But as long as they hold on to March Madness, none of the rest matters to them or the universities, which are making the MM money. About 96% of the revenues end up back at the schools or to scholarships. If they could keep up their MM revenues, which I don't see why not, while offloading expenses and responsibilities...then even better for them.

Yes, the NCAA is stepping back from NIL, specifically, for liability reasons. But not the other 99% of what they do. And the members - the universities - still want their big, menacing, controlling entity over athletes, as always...

I know a few of you in here have good taste in music, so I’m going to share a couple female artists I recently found.

Love me some Morgan Wade, she's amazing. But much like Tyler Childers I think she's better acoustic and on guitar without any crazy audio mixing/over producing (like happens on most studio albums).

1000% agree. Saw where she’s touring with a full band later this year and that’s just not her style. She did a show in Bristol, but I couldn’t make it back to see it.
