100%. Momentum is a thing. Heup didn't come here to manage expectations. He came here to fix it and get on a roll. Same as Barnes and Voltello. Take the guys you can get that will sell out and work hard. Outwork and outsmart the other teams.

Josh Heupel stated it was a four man race and the position would be earned and not given….. Bailey is behind the eight ball in that he has the weakest arm and has the worse mobility of any of the QBs….. he will have to show that he is the most accurate, best reads, and best leader to win the job.

I forget sometimes that some posters on here really don't remember the 90's due to their age. Danny Wuerffel destroyed D's with his reading coverages, getting the ball out quick, accuracy and timing. Could not throw it near as hard or as far as Bailey along with minimal mobility. All he did was win a natty and a Heisman.

It will come down to what Leach said today. Which QB lifts the play of the other 10 guys. Which QB can get the ball to the receivers the best.

We have our own QB whisperer now. Best man will win the job and lead the team. Will 100% support the decision.

Florida went 4-7 in 2017. In 2018, they went 10-3, with losses to KY, Ga, and Mizzou. Tell me why we can’t do the same thing in year 1? I mean, we don’t play anyone worth a flip outside of the top 3 teams. If Heupel is the offensive coach he appears to be, we should be in that 7-9 win range at worst

Mehlen did that with Felipe Franks at QB. We’ve got 3 guys on the roster at QB better than him

I’m gonna put some money on UT winning the SEC East.

Do I think it’s likely? No.

But given the opinions of the media and everybody else in the world about the state of UT football, the payoff has to be pretty nice if our boys can pull it off.

Wuerffel played in a system built to his strengths….. this system is built for a more mobile, strong armed QB although you can win the other this system without either.
