Wuerffel played in a system built to his strengths….. this system is built for a more mobile, strong armed QB although you can win the other this system without either.

I think that's boxing Heupel's system into recent usage. He has always modified to the QB that's on the field. Drew Lock wasn't more mobile. And he's had success with QBs that don't have cannons as well.

Yeah but it also gives Alabama 2 decent opponents and takes away one of their cupcake games. Plus it would help all SEC recruiting in those regions.

The NCAA is dead (Mark Emmert announced this last week) and Texas and OU know they will be left out in the cold if they don't join forces with the SEC.

What's your confidence level that she'll get a final four in the next five years?

She would need to completely churn the roster and step up the portal shopping, and that's not her MO. Not to mention getting back to recruiting at a higher level and putting the shine back on for in-state recruits who bypass UT for other SEC schools. Certainly a goal and not impossible, given the resources... but a tall task.

That’s definitely true but he prefers a QB with Hooker and Milton’s skill set….. Baileys other attributes has to better to make up for what Heup would like to do offensively…. If Bailey is the best then he will play.
