what would you say if jordan began experiencing a phenomenon where at the height of his jumper, his brain told him he was 6ft in the air, when in reality he was only 4ft, so his ankles weren't braced for a landing, spiking the potential of him spraining an ankle or worse. he should just play through that, right?
Since it’s all hypothetical, he would have adjusted, aced it and won 6 more titles.

I would think that is most ridiculous, dumbest thing I had ever heard…..Mentally toughness needs to be taught and encouraged…..allowing excuses encourages the opposite….. it is a very creative excuse for her quitting though.

Well duh. That’s the Goat, but it does make me mad knowing the US never has a chance to win that.
Just takes one good run. If Croatia, a country with fewer people than the state of Tennessee, can make the final, surely we at least have some future chance. Hopefully the current young guns turn out to be our best yet.

He would have taken some innocent gesture of sportsmanship from one of the Romanian gymnasts and somehow convinced himself it was a slight. Then he would used that as motivation to come out and drop a 50-spot on them.

Wait, what are we talking about again?

Still need better coaching to go with the young talent.

i keep forgetting about him, but i think hes going to be sneaky good.

I think the whole WR corp could be sneaky good..

Payton...Hyatt...Jones...Tillman...Calloway...Keyton...Coby...Holiday...Merrill.

With as fast as Heupel likes to go, I think all of these kids will play...plenty of speed! A few studs will emerge...

That’s some kind of hypothetical gymnastics, Geaux. 🤸‍♀️

I would guess that we both are about equally knowledgeable on this subject….. we just have different opinions…. I coach and work with and coach youth sports…. I am a firm believer in your mind having more to do with being a good athlete than your physical attributes. Not being able to control your thoughts leads to more failure than anything….. Pressure comes from within the individual…… have to be able to control your fears which are self made.

Meds for what? And if it’s necessary for her to compete it should be disqualifying.
She mentioned meds that stopped working. She didn't specifically say what for, but my first guess would be anti-anxiety, or possibly anti-depressants.

We’re not. I’ve been around gymnastics my entire life. It’s not a fear thing. It’s the brain not giving the body correct info. It’s not a thing you can muscle through.
