She has her AD/HD medicine with her bc they allowed medical exemptions for athletes to bring them in. It is ok to criticize her…. Athletes get praise when they good and criticism when they don’t….. she is no different….. Imo, what she experienced happens in every sport and the basic root cause is fear of failure….. She has been built up so much that perfection is her only success… Badketball version is Ben Simmons…. Ton of videos of him playing pick up draining shots all over the court…. In the playoffs, he turned down wide open dunks….. The baseball version is Chuck Knoblauch….. perennial All-Star who all of a sudden couldn’t make a throw ten feet from second to first base…. Mental weakness can happen to any athlete at any time and is imo the number one thing to being a great athlete. The difference between special ed kids and knuckleheads is the desire to learn and understand. In the case of knuckleheads, it's not over their heads, it's beyond their desire to see and understand the truth. When you have several top-rated gymnasts from the past confirming this phenomenon exists, then you add in that Japan wouldn't allow her to bring her ADHD meds with her(which would throw off her brain chemistry), and you factor in just how good and dominant a gymnast she has been....I'm really not sure why people are finding it hard to believe her. This is the same Simone Biles that has been dominating the sport for years. She won 4 gold medals at the 2016 Olympics. I think she's done more than enough to earn the benefit of the doubt.
