That’s deep bro, thanks for sharingPVT Warren Glinn Harding Davault enlisted in the US Army at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on November 14, 1942. Tragically, he was killed in action fighting in the Battle of Hurtgen Forest on November 20, 1944. Even more tragically, his remains were never recovered. His remains, along with remains from other soldiers were eventually interred at Ardennes American Cemetery in Belgium in 1951. At that time, none of these remains were able to be identified. About a year and a half ago, My wife got a letter requesting a DNA sample to assist with potentially identifying remains. Her and her brother sent the samples. Subsequently, through the tireless efforts of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), using the DNA, other evidence and dental and anthropological evidence and testing at the Andrew Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, PVT Harding's remains were identified. Today, I had the unbelievable honor of attending his memorial service and burial at his hometown cemetery in Dayton, Tennessee. I do not mind telling you that I was moved to tears witnessing this hero, this patriot, this soldier, being honored by his hometown and his remaining family. The unit he served with sent soldiers from Fort Carson, Colorado and he was buried with full military honors. It was such a moving and uplifting experience and an honor that I will never be able to repeat. I would respectfully ask my friends and family to please honor this great man. I would respectfully ask everyone to please remember this great man. I would ask everyone to please rejoice that this great man, this soldier, this hero is finally able to come home. He made the ultimate sacrifice for you and me. He did it willingly because he felt it was the right thing to do. He did it because he loved his country and wanted to keep it safe for you and me. Please remember him.

I despise most of those sideline reporters. How hard is it to find knowledgeable people who can speak articulately for 45 seconds and come up with 2 intelligent questions that everyone watching doesn't already know the answer to?The lady calling the Chargers vs Rams game sounds pretty knowledgeable. Big change from the general sideline stuff we get
off the top of my head...held the ball and scrambled sideways for negative yards several times, missed easy throws but made hard throws, believe he started 1 game 4/13 with a pick. I'm not hating on him at all. I am the sunshine pumper but I was slightly let down after watching last nightbased on?
what did you watch last night?off

Evening guys and gals. Took a break since February. After bleeding orange since 1982, it’s been difficult to “buy in” any longer. Will always have a special place in my life and memories of Tennessee football and the University but honestly just needed to take a break. Watching and observing moving forward from afar but you guys and girls are really good folks in the RF. Hoping somehow Tennessee gets it together and at least gets competitive again. Just a shell of a football program that I grew up on. Hope everyone is well.
We will field a team that will give their all for Tennessee.
Think of the SugarVols. Name 5 superstars on that team. They beat high and mighty Miami full of future NFL players and coaches; many are now in NFL HOF.
NIL will fill certain teams with mercenaries. Our mercenaries folded as soon as they got hit too many times or got behind in a game. Don’t want those players or those types of coaches anymore.
Don’t want those players at Tennessee anymore. I want Volunteers to play for us. Don’t need to be national champs every year. But I want a team full of players that want to play for my university damn it.

It is soon going to be little better than the WWE, that is pretty much what it already is now. There isn't much, if any real competition, and it is about to shed all pretense of integrity...it is nothing but "Sports Entertainment".Agents (the ones who will benefit most from all of this) worked very hard to frame this as a poor starving athlete vs. big rich school issue and on the surface it can look that way. No one wanted to admit that the benefits will largely only come to those who were already benefiting enormously -- less than 1 percent of college athletes. But the NCAA also had some very dumb blanket rules so likewise no one wanted to say that a kid running a youtube channel shouldn't be able to keep running one once they go to college or go along with all the other examples of NCAA rules getting in the way of things that had nothing to do with a player's sport, recruiting, or fairness within the sport. People pushed for a 'burn it all down' method and that's exactly what happened. BUT they also didn't think through the consequences of any of it and the NCAA utterly failed to set down any real rules or guidelines. I think at this point the NCAA is tired of fighting and is willing to sit back and simply sponsor a basketball tournament because that's less hassle and where all of their money comes from any way. But we're now left with a version of college athletics that is about to become the most unfair playing field we've seen since before the NCAA started.
It's hard to sell a governing body to fans or anyone else though. We dislike the NCAA because they're a threat to programs we love but it's as if people have given up on the idea that we still need someone to insure a semblance of fairness in sports. I'm not ok with a rigged system that favors the haves so much that it's impossible for anyone to shake things up but a lot of schools and fans are completely ok with that.
I want that too, but are there many players like that anymore? ThisWe will field a team that will give their all for Tennessee.

Josh Dobbs was pretty fast. A lot faster than Milton. Yes there's more than one way to run the ball, and Milton can use his feet. But I'd be shocked to see him bust out huge runs this season like Dobbs was capable of.
