I mean, the majority of players interviewed talk about a culture change and some have come right out and said that they finally enjoy playing football againThe part that makes me think it could be different is all the team building pics. The players seemed happy to be there. Of course, things change when you here you are 3rd string in the next week or two.
It's probably easier to enter the portal at the end of the year. But I certainly hope the talk they had with him was to support his team on social media, and they would help him find a better spot at the end of the year.Maurer should just move on man. QB is just not the position to be a headcase and have success. I truly wish him well in the future and hope he can improve his mental health.
This family is insane!

Agreed. He and Jabari Davis looked destined to continue the history of very good to great running backs at Tennessee but both played below most expectations. Houston always seemed to lose his footing too easily.
Unfortunate for sure. Obviously the guy was talented enough to play in the league. Houston, Davis, Riggs, Foster, and Hardesty were the last 5 running backs that were featured under Fulmer. If not for the Kiffin debacle Bryce Brown may have made his name in the UT record books. We wouldn't see talent like that group in the backfield again until Hurd and Kamara.Houston was also diagnosed with a hyper thyroid at the NFL combine, and he said he wasn’t quite right his senior year at UT. NFL teams knew about it, and the Jets still picked him in the 6th round. I think he played several years as a backup. Sometimes, we don’t know what these guys go through.
