Mosquito's are shiyat. No-see-ums say hold my Dos Equis. Traveled to and from Central Florida for two decades that is the only thing that has just made me say '**** this'.

Goodness those things royally suck! Some of the South Florida Gulf beaches have really long boardwalks. Exit the beach at dark and those things will light you up for next half-mile of boardwalk torture.

They do make repellent for the devils.

I see that and I've heard all the coach speak. But that quote...

"Joe Milton spent a ton of time in May learning what we were doing before everybody was back in June. Joe has really progressed in camp and is much more comfortable with what we’re doing."

- he is the only QB here that Heupel got to take by choice
- early start on learning the system
- "really" progressed in camp
- used the C word - comfort, and qualified that it was a great level of comfort

If he's already explaining why someone has learned the system so well, and why he/the staff are comfortable with them... it's done.
Just didn't want you thinking it was official because of my post. Posted because I liked the part about him studying the playbook and understanding it.

I'm glad you shared it. It has removed any doubt that I had of who his leader is.

He pretty much shot down every excuse not to start him with the brief statement

For those that don’t really follow BBall Recruiting. Ziegler is already in the UT student directory and announces on Friday.

Fast-forward to the present day, there are two players that made their presence felt on both the asphalt scene and on their respective AAU circuits. The two players in question are Maurice Odum and Zakai Ziegler, two point guards that have had the tri-state area buzzing. Both have some big similarities, as they’re both from the New York area (Odum is from East Harlem and Ziegler is from Brentwood, Long Island), they both went to high school in the state of New Jersey (Odum went to Union City for his first three years of high school and Ziegler recently graduated from Immaculate Conception in Montclair this past June) and both had big summers on the AAU circuit.

...Ziegler, a 5-10 point guard, is a great facilitator, but also manages to get baskets himself. In 15 games last season, he averaged 20.2 points per game for the Lions, and was the Super Essex Conference Player of the Year and was an All-State Second Team selection. In his three seasons at Immaculate Conception, he finished with 1,012 points.
New York Ballers Make A Splash on Grassroots Scene
A guard that is smooth with his play and has great energy on the floor. Is a player that has jet-like quickness and uses that in transition to get to the basket with ease. Has the ability to get his teammates the ball at the right spots & makes sure they are in position to score. Recruit The Bronx

A guard that has a penchant for controlling the game and his team with his awareness and court vision. Has the ability to run a team in transition and is an asset to whatever team he is on. When driving to the lane, he uses his slick ball-handling skills to get into the lane for two. Recruit The Bronx

Pit-bull point guard who is transferring to OSL, Zakai had a great spring and put high major schools on notice. Lightning quick, it’s nearly impossible to stay in front of him. Can shoot out to 25 feet and finish around the basket. Recruit The Bronx

Based on Win Percentages:
Better:
Bama (89% in 2010s vs 68%)
LSU (48 vs 79)
Missouri (39 vs 59)
South Carolina (39 vs 60)
Vanderbilt (30 vs 42)

Worse:
Tennessee (81 vs 50)
Florida (82 vs 63)
A&M (76 vs 64)
Ole Miss (58 vs 47)

Same:
Auburn (64 vs 66)
Mississippi St (56 vs 60)
Kentucky (39 vs 46)
And notably, South Carolina, Missouri, and Vanderbilt being better is absolutely meaningless. Only LSU climbing out of their slump from years prior amounted to anything. While Vanderbilt has a better winning percentage thanks to Franklin, they’ve also fielded objectively worse teams in that time frame. South Carolina has one of the worst histories in CFB. They had nowhere to go but up. All three are better because both Tennessee and Florida were train wrecks. They are not tougher competition than teams past.

I would love to do a backcountry canoe trip in Boundary Waters. A buddy just did it this summer and decided to make it an annual thing.
I did a 5 day canoe camping trip on the Buffalo river in Arkansas this spring, highly recommend though not nearly as isolated as that area of the country

Not really, we are just trying to make things work because she missed me and said she would try. I'm head over heels for her but shes grown distant and emotionally detached. Idk what to do but I hope this will help give me some help and clarity 😔
I hope y’all figure things out and am glad you’re both trying to.

I feel like after all my digging today and seeing guys like Palmer and Callaway shining, it’s never been more obvious that overall talent isn’t the issue here. I think our woes fall strictly on subpar QB play.

I think that is a combination of recruiting and pathetic QB coaching.

Recruiting:
2013
Dobbs
2014
No Qb(wtf Butch)
2015
Sheriron Jones (ended up at UNLV)
Quinten Dormady (ended up at CMU)
Jauan Jennings (great WR)
2016
Guarantano (…. Sigh…)
2017
Will McBride (ends up at Lamar?)
2018
JT Shrout (transfers to Colorado)
2019
Brian Maurer (transfers TBD)
2020
Harrison Bailey (tbd)

Qb Coaches
2013-14
Bajakian
2015-16
DeBord
2017
Mike Canales
2018
Tyson Helton
2019-20
Weinke

Since Dobbs, all our recruited QBs have combined to throw for 8,873 and 56 TDs in 4 seasons…

for reference, Heupel teams have thrown for 14,924 yards and 140 TDs in that same time span…
