The 1 o’clock announcement can’t be QB1. It has to be about something else. You wouldn’t sit on that as media. CJH said at the first press conference of fall camp that he would prefer not to announce until the team takes the field on September the 2nd. There banned reporters from practice to keep it a secret and work on BG prep. Just going off logic and fall practice highlights it looks like it is Milton.

Oh we missed on Sam Howell for sure and the fact we settled for Brian Maurer in that class wasn't good. A 4/5 star QB should be a priority in every recruiting class.

We’re not saving the QB1 news to surprise BG. They don’t matter. And… they suck. The teams that matter will have ample film on Milton by the time we play them. I’m not sure what the point is. The guys in the QB room are well aware of who QB1 is. If they don’t, they’re not smart.
