And Saturday there are like 5 or 6 games on. Pretty excited for this football season to start.

I don't know how to describe how I feel about the coming season...but excited is not the word..maybe "hopeful trepidation"

I'm really hoping to be surprised in a good way, but I have two cups on in case we have another nut punch season.

It seems like college coaches tend to do one of two things, depending on circumstances. They either know well in advance who the starting qb will be (e.g., a returning starter) and make no bones about it, or they hold the public announcement as long as possible. Even though the team has seen strong indications about who is leading by now, I assume the goal is to send a message to the qb's (and the rest of the team) that it's still a close enough competition that the head coach is not burning his bridges by making a statement.

Also, Pittsburgh, first opponent UMass, could use part of their preseason preparing differently for Milton vs Bailey vs Hooker if your starter was definitively known.

I'm pretty sure no announcement needs to be made to the players. I'm sure they all, even the other QBs and coaches, know who has taken control of the offense. No announcement needed when you can feel and see it. If they have to be told, then no one ever took control.

Glad to hear him boost the RBs. I've thought we could have a top3 stable in the SEC, but worried it was my fandom. I can't wait til these guys start rolling, fingers crossed they live up to the hype.

It's a perfect opportunity for our guys to surprise everyone. They have a clear shot to sucker-punch a lot of people square in the mouth.

I will ask and see if my person knows anything…. An update…. I thought he was going to be able to view wednesdays but he won’t be able to view practice Tuesday, wed, or thur…… he will be able to view them on Monday and fridays…He is going to ask to see what happened today during tonight’s team activities.
