That swim pond looks like exponentially more maintenance. I get that they’re self cleaning if managed properly, but that landscaping and plant life

I wish. We'll have a lot less cost with upkeep, get rid of the concrete patio/decking, and have a more natural looking backyard with the same benefits of a pool. Should end up saving a few $'s in the long run.

Boys, let’s pivot for a second. I’ve had gas grills my entire adult life. We moved and sold the cheap one we had. My default plan was to get a Weber now and maybe a Kamado Joe in 1-2 years. But then my buddy bought a pellet grill and loves it. What’s the consensus here?

Yeah, I suppose a lot is how you landscape it. We're not going all-in like that picture. Just some regular flower garden type stuff.

Why do people like them have that much $? I could use it so so so much more constructively.

Is it not constructive? Ultimately the money is going towards paying someone or creating something, which means work/income for someone, somewhere. And those people are more likely to spend the money again and put it back into the economy.

Far better than having it sit idly by in an account.

Everyone I know who's owned a pool has regretted it. Small sample size admittedly, but they're a huge hassle and take a ton of money.

Agree with this. Ours was above ground, but was as Jave said. Huge hassle and very expensive

That's probably my next purchase, but I'm keeping my gas grill. Every time I have grilled items from a traeger or pot boss it's noticeably not as good as a grill.

Definitely a different way to grill than gas. Gas is more convenient as well.

I do like the hickory pellets we have for burgers though.
