Y'all, I need some prayers. Early Saturday morning text to coworker went to boss instead... in response to boss's email. Boss not happy. I am completely dead inside.

I’m always so paranoid about this exact situation happening to me.

Hopefully your boss is humble enough to understand that it’s natural for employees to sometimes talk sh!t about their boss and he/she just laughs it off.

Crouch was not one of our best LB. he just played because Pruitt wanted to stop the run at all costs. He was terrible. We brought in some good LB. brought in two good DBs. Chandler was average and we upgraded with Evans and Small. Palmer is a loss but we have plenty of WRs. Added Payton… You are only focusing on losses and not gains. Plus QB will be 100xs better.

Bass had focused mostly on the positives, so I noted I thought his positives offset by the negatives I listed 6-6 feels about right (i.e. about the same as last year). I do agree with a lot of his positives and a lot of yours I'm just not as sold on some of the new players (and last year's backups) until they prove something to me (Small, Milton, Evans, etc..) and they can't prove anything to me until the games start.

We don't have a proven QB on the roster, so saying they'll be 100x better depends on coaching and/or their development. I hope QB is an upgrade (if it's not it will be a long season) but it's not guaranteed. I feel the same way about the RB room. There are pieces on campus to replace and even upgrade off of what we lost but pulling all that together and substantially improving over last year will require better coaching than we've seen in a long time around here.

If this team wins 8 or 9 games I'll be very impressed with the coaching staff.

Reece on college game day just took a shot at UT. Shots fired.

Kirk said UNC getting help from Tennessee Ty Chandler and then Reece said we would need a 3 hour show to talk about all the transfers from Tennessee. And everyone laughed.
all these years we’ve been down this is all they do every year. One day we’re going to shut their mouths and it’s going to be glorious

How do people find gameday entertaining? It's just them making bad joke and forcing laughter
I like it because it sets up my saturday. The interest stories and stats give me more of a buy-in in games I would normally just watch and not care about.

Plus I just love college football.

Fowler with the jab about Tennessee players transferring out. What a tool.
“We would need another 3 hour show to discuss all the players transferring out of TN.” I really think this is why no one thinks we can win more than 5-6. The thing is no one outside of us looks to see who did we really lose. It’s time to flip the script. Have to prove it on the field to stop being the punching bag of the media.

Sorry off topic…..just got back from a family vacation to Destin. I flew American for the first time in years. All 4 legs of the trip had at least an hour delay due to “maintenance issues”. While on the plane there was condensation leaks, call bell that rang the entire flight due to short circuit, and duct tape holding tray tables in place. I fly all the time with Delta for work and have never seen anything close to that. Horrible
There is a major problem going on with American. I've flown them hundreds of times, but this past year has been a nightmare. One of the gate agents told me the aircraft maintenance union isn't getting what they want, so they're flagging almost every plane as broken, even the perfectly good ones, which is forcing American to have huge delays and use older, actually awful planes like the one you flew in. They delayed something like 300 flights in one weekend. My wife got stuck in Dallas for days a few months ago.

They need to get their act together for sure.
