I would never bet against the Vols...but I think a total disaster season is a bad possibility. We are so thin at OL, DB and LB...and have zero proven (at least to this point) QBs to run a offense that needs a really good QB to hum.

We absolutely have to have a lucky season for once when it comes to injuries, and we have to hit on one of these QBs.

It could happen though, teams do have relatively good injury years, it just never seems to happen for us.

I don’t think we are that thin to where it will become an issue….. we are not thin at all at DB any more…. Our offensive line coach feels he has 9 guys that he can count on…. LB is the one that concerns me the most….As for QBs….. Heup always has a good QB bc of his system…. I have no doubts that one of the three will get the job done. I’m really not concerned about injuries at this point.

I posted practice updates earlier….. main points was Joe is definitely qb1 hooker looked like 2 and bailey 3…… thinks tiyon evans may start at rb….. Hyatt in the slot a lot today….. receivers look good…… they did scout team work today and the joe Milton led offense had really good rhythm all of practice….. didn’t get to see the defense work.

I don’t think it's out of the question for the Vols to win all of the OOC games, beat KY, Vandy, SC, Missouri, and OM, then lose to AL, GA, and FL. Is it likely? No. Is there a chance? Sure. Obviously, we'd have to have a lot.of things go our way but we're due.

Been watching UCF games under Heupel all week getting hyped about the offense. I have a question about tempo. Are we going to be able to come out of the gate in week one with the crazy type tempo he did at UCF where you snap the ball every five or six seconds? Just seems like that's a pretty lofty goal for a brand new offense being installed.
