Yep! Last night at about 11 sent a text saying the worst had past and he was going to sleep.
Sounds like it was pretty bad down there.
Very glad you and yours are safe.Thankfully avoided true devastation by about 20 miles. Still getting 60mph gusts. Can hear trees snapping and transformers exploding in the dark. Power went out, flipped the generator on.
70 miles down the road, all 8 main electrical transmission towers that feed power into New Orleans have toppled. One collapsed into the Mississippi River. The entire city is in the dark. Probably will be for a long time.
Grateful to have avoided a direct hit, but there is so much devastation across the state and gulf coast.

I don't agree with that. I love watching Canelo fight and there are some good heavy weights.The "sport" of boxing is dead. They are dancing on the grave and making insane $.
