I don’t have as much of a problem with running it as I do with going out of bounds. Fight, claw, or lateral the ball to get in. Just don’t run out of bounds.
He doesn’t have what it takes.Really simple if you ask me.Either you do what is best for the team or you don’t!

I get the "pent up frustration for 10+ years" angle, but it was mostly drunk college kids throwing stuff.

Sometimes drunk, amped people get excited/angry and act an ass. Whoever runs the Jumbotron and put the pic up there that looked like we got the first down (when we didn't) certainly didn't do anyone any favors. It looked like we were blatantly getting cheated lol. That was the last straw.

Playing with fire.

  1. No Evans, Cooper all game
  2. Cade goes out
  3. Muffed punt
  4. Erased scoop & score
  5. 83 missed holding calls
  6. Missed FG
  7. No points after INT
  8. Runs on 1st & 2nd down after INT
  9. Terrible spot on 4th & Gatlinburg conversion
  10. Tipped pass on Milton's throw
  11. Milton runs out of bounds on last play of game
And we still only lost by a hair.

Hype is getting us back there much quicker than anyone expected. Despite 71 scholarship players. Despite all the injuries.

I'm tired of all of the almosts, moral victories, and coulda/woulda/shoulda games of the past 15 years.

This just feels different.

We overcame a ton, any other coach we've had in the post-Fulmer era craps their pants this game. We wouldn't die. This team has heart and I think the staff does a good job.

That was the most excited and invested I’ve been in a Tennessee game since the end of Botch’s tenure as our HC. I have to give credit to the team today for never giving up and never laying down. That’s something that many of our teams in the past few years have been all-too-willing to do. Hooker played a great game, and I hope he’s not seriously hurt. Jabari Small ran hard, but I think we all can agree that he’s not Tiyon Evans. Our defense did everything I feel that they could’ve done to keep us in the game. Flowers got the first INT of Corral’s season, and we effectively kept their (non-QB) run game in check. Our coaching staff coached an overall good game, but should’ve tried to exploit Ole Miss stacking the box more than they did.

The refs flat out took away a touchdown from us for a bogus reason. That’s unacceptable, yet normal behavior for our conference’s referees. I hate it, but those are the breaks we get sometimes. The spot on the 4th and 27 pass turned out to be a fairly good one, unfortunately. We lost based on one officiating crews made up call, a muffed punt, and a missed FG. Any combination of those two events likely gives us enough to win.

Proud of our players. They fought. Extremely disappointed in the fans. Can’t wait to see how the media spins this against us, as I’m sure they already are. I left the 2017 Florida game at half after I watched a fan throw a fountain drink at our own bench and drill a walk-on (who I’m sure was just thrilled to have the opportunity to suit up for Tennessee). That behavior is intolerable to me, and is inexcusable. I get we are all fed up, sick of losing, and exhausted from every break going against us—but we should do better.

TL;DR: Proud of our team, disappointed in the fans

Damn totally forgot about the missed FG. Make that we possibly kick a FG for the win. Damn.

I'm going to continue riding this train... It was a hint of hating Lane Kiffin mixed with a five hour long affair from the fake injuries.

Tillman should have caught that damn ball tho lol...
The one that was 100 miles an hour that hit 1 hand at full extention????

I would be more concerned with Paytons 2 dropped touchdowns and the refs allowing the play to continue ruling a touchdown then coming back saying Corrals forward progression had stopped so it was a dead ball.

Y’all complaining about the kids throwing stuff on the field can stfu. Quit acting like you ain’t act crazy at that age and I don’t blame them after the muffed punt, the fumble recovery that didn’t count, the fake injuries kiffin is known for, plus the questionable short call on 4th and 23. It was a combo of all that PLUS kiffin being on the other sideline. Get over it. I don’t blame them and I would’ve done the same thing at their age

Payton dropped two crucial balls
