I used to be against this, but recently not just last night, im all in on putting some sort of sensor in the ball to be able to tell where it was when the runner was down. But it still makes it objective as to when the runner was down which was the whole issue last night. So does it really fix the problem?

There would have to be more to it than just a ball sensor. I'm not the person to understand the technicalities of how we get there, but I've also always been shocked at facial recognition AI and the tech behind self driving cars. We're just scraping the surface of what video AI is capable of, so yes I think in the near future, if not already, it could determine when a player is down. 1000x better than humans looking from 15 feet from behind. Humans just aren't made for this at a high level.

We did spy him with Banks. But once the center would release down field, Corral would follow. Banks never could make the blocker miss to make the play. Pretty terrible execution on J Banks part all game on those plays
Yeah it wasn't about the scheme it was execution and them scheming against it. They'd just release the center or another blocker to hit the spy and Banks struggled to shed the blocker.

This, athletes have gotten faster and bigger, officials are still old men (and some women) trying to relieve their glory days and stay connected to the game. We need younger officials that can actually keep up.

Seriously other than the refs sucking, the worse thing I saw was a football player giving up on the final play of the game. No heart or desire to do what it takes to compete .
I knew it was over when I seen HH go down. I had zero faith in Milton, just did not know how he was going to screw it up.Did not see that coming but after he did what he did , I was not even surprised. Now I wonder what made Tenn fans get so wrapped up in Milton when he picked Tenn. I was like did they not see his film at Michigan? I hope he left this morning

I mean hell Ole Miss has done this TO US...

So it's not an exclusive to Tennessee thing, I don't think our fanbase did anything more damning than others. Just wish it hadn't happened is all, cause I want to believe we have a higher quality of fans than a lot of other teams. Sadly we don't, bad apples in every fanbase I guess.

Don't think that was my argument, I just dont think you help yourself at all by doing that. You make the discussion today about those ignorant fans and not about the poor officiating.
There are ignorant fans at every school. Poor officiating brought out the ignorant fans. I am not condoning the fans action but if the refs were doing their job you would not be talking about the ignorant fans

Hell it happened at the end of the Iowa Purdue game earlier in the day
