Running backs had 14 carries, couldn’t trust our OL tonight. Surprised we scored as much as we did. Defense needs a major overhaul. I’m just concerned Heupel can’t bring in any players. He’s a great coach, just not sure there’s a formula for major success for him,
OL played poorly. Defense finally gave in to fatigue. Fair to say a major lack of depth can be blamed for both. One thing's for sure, there are very few coaches that could take this roster and compete with Alabama for even a quarter of play. This team is definitely playing above their talent level and should have a great shot to knock off Kentucky and get some positive momentum back.

Defense doesn’t need a major overhaul. 3rd down defense dies along with adding pass rushers. That’s all there is to it.
Agreed. He must have had a few too many. Defense has played like 180 snaps the last two weeks. Offense has to do more but with so many lineman down it’s tough getting the run game going. Problem with the defense is less than expected. We miss Mitchell at LB and our safeties still suck. Right up the middle…

Hate to say it but local boy, USC OC Marcus Satterfield may be leaving Columbia soon.
I've said it before and I will say it again. Beamer needed to hire a lights out OC to succeed in Columbia. Satterfield isn't it. Bobo leaving for Auburn was a bigger blow for that program than most of their fans probably thought.

The OL did their best..they have too many guys having to play that should never see the field except for garbage time against cupcakes

I hate to tell you guys this, but UK is a pretty good football team, much more solid overall than we are right now.

Beating them without Cade is going to be a massive chore.

Beasley was matched up on the receiver. Alabama got a very favorable match-up on that play more so than the safeties giving it up.

24 had underneath cover up the seam but 22 has to roll over the top in that deep zone coverage.

Serious question, when is the last time you were impressed with 1 or 22?

If McCullough could pretend like he’s not studying for an exam and take a few steps over or anticipate a player coming open once in every, oh, 10 or so plays I would certainly be happier… but he doesn’t so I’m not..
