The one consolation I take from the Dodgers’ loss is that we’ve had too many late injuries and not enough gas in our starters’ tanks for us to have probably had much chance against the astros, and I’d rather lose to the Braves than to houston.

It appears that Hype realizes at a certain point that he has to go all in and feels a loss is a loss-- by 1 or 40. Kiffin plays in a similar fashion, but I think he takes risky chances too early-- at least when I watched him playing Bama.

I’m guessing Roberts figured the bullpen has seen a lot of action too and if Buehler could find any gas in the tank then it’s the best chance we have. At this point it’s just stay alive one more day. But Buehler’s arm ran out of steam in September. So did Scherzer’s. Gotta figure that out.

They really ran out of gas when we kept over using them….. I would have given Beuhler the rest and used the bullpen more…. They had used them a lot but had still kept most of them to one inning per game…They don’t make pitchers like Orel hershiser any more.

Go Braves and Go Vols!!!

Just got home from Game 6 - wore my orange loud and proud with a Braves hat. Was an incredible environment. I’m disappointed the Vols lost, but they created quite a buzz around Truist Park and had some Bama fans worried. Without knowing the details, I’m certain the team simply wore out in the 4th quarter. But proud of the fight and excited for the future!
