Before putting the cart before the horse with Ed O getting fired... Didn't they give him an insane buyout after he won the natty? Is it even possible to fire him? If I'm not wrong his buyout this season is 21 million.

They gonna have to Pruitt his ass to get rid of him.

I see this Pitt game being a tight one similar to when we played Georgia Tech. I do think we get the win, but I'm not sure if we will be happy with all facets of the game.

Then we roll Tenn Tech.
I really don’t care about the facets and how it looks all the time. I just want to win. So sick of losing. Whatever it takes.

That’s true. But I don’t know the roster condition. I can only assume Florida was setup for immediate success compared to UCLA.

You can safely assume all SEC schools are set up for immediate success when XYZ new head coach arrives.

Only reason they don’t show hockey stick year-over-year win progression and win the championship in year 3 is ineptitude and/or choosing the wrong QB in fall camp of Year 1.

Lol

I’m with you. I don’t recall a time in Tennessee history (or anyone’s history) where the way they won matched expectations all the time.

Just hope they win and I will enjoy watching.

Not saying LSU isn’t a top gig, I’m saying it’s not worlds apart from Auburn from a facilities, administrative, or even football perspective. LSU’s AD is under investigation for how much he protected his coach and players from liability in domestic violence and sexual assault cases. He may be out before too long.

I have no idea if he’d take the LSU job, but he doesn’t seem to be looking to clean up a mess, and LSU will most likely be a mess.
Didn’t Napier (and many others) say “no thanks” to Auburn last year after they fired Malzahn?

I wouldn't be surprised if Pitt beat the hell out of us but we'd all be surprised if we beat the hell outta them. Times have definitely changed.
I’ll be a little surprised if we get dragged. I won’t be at all surprised if we lose, but not even competing would be cause for at least some shock.
