If I'm an employee under contract, like a LOI and I took money to move to said location. Company would require me to pay the money back, prorated.Don’t blame HB at all. If you came in 3rd for a promotion in your company, but other companies are showing interest in you, then it’s only logical to leave for a place offering more opportunity.
HB showed his loyalty by not jumping ship when Pruitt left. He took his best shot, it didn’t work out, so there’s no fault in moving on.
It’s collateral damage from both extremist narratives. He was either our savior or overrated as soon as he signed. The ones waiting out the facts becoming truth aren’t as vociferous in their posting. Myself? I was excited at his potential and didn’t buy that Heupel couldn’t use his gifts. Time showed me that Heupel has evolved and wants that different element of QB mobility in his attack. Bailey did everything right on his part imo and should move on with a clear mind. What he does or doesn’t accomplish at his next stop has nothing to do with us. But we like to think otherwise.I'll never understand the HB hate on this site and on VQ. It's unreal. Kid has never done anything to deserve the way that our fans talk about him.
Should probably look at Big 10 schools. Could see him taking another look at Michigan or the like.He will get killed behind that pathetic OL...if he is smart (which according to Jacket, if I understand him correctly, he is not) he will go somewhere that needs a QB, but already has a good OL.
If he goes anywhere in conference, then I really hope he rots...I hate every other SEC team and every player on them.
But it's not in the middle of the season...we are going to be playing game 9 next week.If I'm an employee under contract, like a LOI and I took money to move to said location. Company would require me to pay the money back, prorated.
Also, any additional perks like housing stipend, daycare, or car allowance would be forfeit until the end of said contract period. You owe money you took because you didnt fulfill your bargain.
You dont bail in middle of season.
I don’t think we will get another QB as a recruit bc when they are the same class….. it will be hard to keep them happy…. I do think we will bring in a transfer….. probably not a stud but someone who could step in if Hooker goes down….. we haven’t typically had stud back ups behind the starters…. Just guys that could fill in when needed.Maybe. But things change when you have 3 guys leave for the portal Which, when Milton does, that will be our situation. He will understand that you need more than 2 QB's on the roster. Although it is more likely that we grab a guy from the portal than add another to this class. But I think that's going to be difficult because no one who is a top guy is going to want to come here when Hooker is established as the guy. Our best hope would be to get someone with several years left who is willing to wait, learn the system, and compete with TJ in 2023. But those guys are hard to find

Unless Heupel made a mistake and misjudged him. He is great with QBs, but he is human, and humans eff up sometimes.
He fits the offense. Ball control football. Short passes. Use the middle of the field. Pick your shots. Gattis is doing solid with McNamara. Harbaugh was an NFL QB he hasn’t had another Andrew Luck but his QBs also haven’t been downright awful. Their offense is just stale to begin with, but I think it’s the type of offense HB would be good in. HB makes good, safe decisions with the ball and that’s what that offense is predicated around. Why would Michigan be a good spot? Harbaugh cannot develop college QB’s.
