Bailey clearly doesn't fit this system. Or maybe he doesn't want to fit this system? Don't really know. But it's entirely possible a change of scenery causes something to click and he lives up to his potential. That doesn't make Heupel suddenly a bad coach. For whatever reason, HB clearly cannot cut it here. Whatever he does elsewhere doesn't change that fact.Whatever man...if the guy can play anywhere else and be great, then if Heupel's is anywhere near the offensive mind I think he is he could play great for us.
I truly hope that Bailey turns out to be mediocre at best so I will never have to wonder "why and what if?"
Heupel had a top CFB offense with Drew Lock...pretty sure he could figure it out. Evidently Bailey just isn't good enough.
You boys are taking this conversation down a rabbit hole and @Freak just may shut it downThank you for providing your expertise. Most people do not go beyond the "I wants" of the politicians and themselves to think through the ramifications on a national as well as global scale.
I wish Key had stayed but I think OU and Riley backchannelled and got in his head. In other words, I think they cheated.Key Lawrence is one I legit just don't get...my guess is that some of their handlers and former staff convinced quite a few of them that if they stayed they'd be ruled ineligible and ruin their careers.
Cause Tank's numbers are better than Key right now, but I for sure think if Key was here he'd be starting over Tank and likely doing a lot better.
Well said-----I can hear them nowNot sure it's that simple. Heupel is successful because his players can execute his system, not necessarily because of raw talent (see: Milton, Joe). It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that HB could be successful elsewhere, where the demands are be different, and that not necessarily be a failure on Heupel's part.
I'll call it now though: If HB succeeds elsewhere, and we have any issue at QB in the future, the negas will be out in full force trashing Heupel for letting the next Peyton walk.
b.dohnOWINGS MILLS, Md. -- With game-day visits again open, four-star defensive lineman Mason Robinson is enjoying getting out and about.
The class of 2023 standout from McDonogh already took in games at Penn State, Maryland and Virginia Tech, and he is eyeing an unofficial to Tennessee for the Nov. 27 game against Vanderbilt.
"I am trying to make plans to go to Tennessee somewhere near Thanksgiving," the 6-foot-3, 230-pound Robinson said. "I have family in Tennessee. My grandparents live in Manchester.
Hard to imagine because it doesn't open up a new spot for a transfer, so it's a moot point. If he had just stuck with his teammates till after the semester, then I'd agree with the mutual benefits.Just caught up these last 20 pages. A lot of HB hate. Haven’t seen it mentioned, but it is possible that Heup gave HB the go ahead because it was mutually beneficial. HB gets a head start on his own recruitment, and him leaving allows Heup to grab another QB this cycle. If Tayven is a team guy he has to be cool with it at this point. We have 2 scholarship QBs.
Shows his character. Do not want.If I'm an employee under contract, like a LOI and I took money to move to said location. Company would require me to pay the money back, prorated.
Also, any additional perks like housing stipend, daycare, or car allowance would be forfeit until the end of said contract period. You owe money you took because you didnt fulfill your bargain.
You dont bail in middle of season.
