Hubbs providing some perspective on Bailey transfer. Interesting. Says we will have difficultly finding depth, I dont agree there.

My entire point from the start was that you probably shouldn't extrapolate HB's success elsewhere to poor coaching by Heupel. To support the point, I created a logical proof. Yes, of course it is extreme, and no, I don't believe it's the likely outcome. Still, if he succeeds elsewhere, there will be much gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes, and the McCrackedBrains will be out in force. Oh wait...already is.
I'm not saying it would be "poor coaching". Mcrackhead is an idiot. I support Heupel, but if Bailey goes off somewhere else it will be because JH made a mistake in letting him go...anybody can make a mistake.

I doubt Bailey does though, Heupel is most probably right...HB is probably a mediocre at best talent.

kinda sad for TN.

QB: Chad Pennington
RB: Reggie Cobb
WR: Golden Tate
DL: Reggie White
LB: Patrick Willis
DB: Harrison Smith

Thoughts?

Coulda just put Reggie White.
We win the competition right there.

Wish we had more like him.

Well I can’t believe that I didn’t think of Jason Witten. All time leading receiver on his NFL team as a TE. Says it all.

Well, I hope that Al Wilson didn’t read this before I edited it…

List those three and I am happy.

So Barion can go to Bama but supposedly UK has the momentum? Seems likely.

Or you saying UK isn’t in it and that’s all bad info?

Or is the question for a kid that Saban tells him he is a faster Davonta Smith… why the heck is his trending backup option KY and not TN, Oklahoma, Florida, North Carolina, Ole Miss, TX, Ohio St type offense that you know consistently has WRs in NFL and has WR friendly offenses? TN literally off our worst decade has more WRs recently in NFL than Ky. Callaway is Saints #1. Jennings on 49ers roster getting some playing time. Palmer #3 WR on one of the most explosive offenses in NFL. But he wants free Kroger gas cards?

To be fair...Chad has like zero competition.

And Trevor Lawrence really isn't a TN native since he played all his HS ball in Georgia, but I digress.

So here's my top "from TN" players based on NFL careers.

QB: Chad Pennington
RB: James "Little Man" Stewart
WR: Golden Tate or Randall Cobb
TE: Jason Witten

DE: Reggie White
DT: John Henderson
LB: Patrick Willis
MLB: Al Wilson
DB: Bill Bates
FS: Harrison Smith
SS: Von Bell

Tiyon Evans and JYD Simmons were my other main players I was thinking about
He is not for sure….. should know more next week…. Practices have been much lighter this week with an open date and they are resting a lot of the banged up players so they will be ready for next weeks game.

Bill Wade might be the best QB.......

I agree with Hubbs. Tough situation. If you go after another HS kid then you risk rubbing Tayven the wrong way. You also want Tayven to have time to develop coming out of a run oriented offense. Transfer QBs are transferring because of playing time. You really limit your pool of options trying to find someone willing to sit behind Hooker for a year. If Hooker leaves then it is a different story; transfers will line up at the door. Best case scenario is Milton sticks around instead of going lower level and you have Hooker/Milton/Jackson. I don’t think Milton sticks around though. I’m sure a group of 5 will be glad to take their chances with him

He was better than 5th year JG last year. Y’all get all offended when a Vol realist comments. Yet, another year of recruiting @ 15th in the nation and 7th or 8th in the SEC.

Wasn't he the #1 pick in the draft?

He was the first player selected in the 1952 NFL draft, by the Los Angeles Rams, but did not join the team until 1954 because of military service.

Quarterbacking the Rams for seven seasons, Wade's best year statistically was 1958, when he led the NFL in passing yards with 2,875. He asked to be traded to the Bears in 1961 and was sent with teammates Del Shofner and John Guzik for two players and a draft pick. Wade topped the league in 1962 in pass completions and attempts, and threw for 466 yards on Nov 11 in Dallas, second in franchise history to Johnny Lujack (468).[1] He was the first Bear to record four games with 300+ passing yards in a season.[2] In 1963, he led Chicago to the 1963 NFL Championship Game, scoring both Bears touchdowns on two 5-yard drives after turnovers in a 14–10 victory over the New York Giants in a game played in freezing weather conditions at Wrigley Field.

After retiring from football in 1966, he was offered a position as the QB's coach with the Bears. Wade held the position for one year, before being offered to replace George Halas as the team head coach. He declined the opportunity at his father advice, and the position was filled by Jim Dooley.[3]

Well...having the greatest defensive player of all time is pretty good.

I’ve reserved judgment on Bailey for a long time. He’s had top QB coaching since middle school. Because of that, he was very well-developed in high school.

That always made me wonder if he’s already peaked and/or there’s not much more athletic ability to be tapped into. I’ve hoped that wasn’t the case, but the past two years and two different staffs haven’t helped shake the doubt.

The jury is still out, but I’m getting more convinced my hunch is correct. If he goes to a rival, I’ll know it for sure.

Okay, you are most likely correct. 100% of Plantar Fasciitis is due to the Gastrocnemius being too tight.

Learn to do the Achilles/Gastrocnemius wall stretch. Hold for at least 60 seconds if not longer. 5 times during the day and another 5 times right before bed.
Buy a Futuro Plantar Fasciitis Night Support. Wear it every night. It will keep you from losing flexibility each night. Wear it and stretch daily until you have been pain Free for 2 months.
Also get Voltaren gel (now over the counter) apply to the painful area and your Achilles two times daily. The OTC strength is the same as the prescription strength. They sell it at Costco in bigger amounts.

Proper stretch technique; heel always on the floor, knee on the back stretch leg is straight, to stretch you shift your hips closer to the wall, your leg acts as a fulcrum to apply force across the ankle, toes pointed directly at the wall (foot not angled at all), take it only to the point of a pull, absolutely no pain or your brain will perceive the stretch as trauma and tighten the muscle up even more.

Hopefully that helps! 🤠
Seems like a lot of work. 🤣

Vol realist......hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Not sure if it is worse to assume you are a complete idiot or to assume you are a troll. I don't guess either one is more flattering than the other. I am almost...almost, but not quite......sad that I will not get a chuckle out of anymore of your posts. This is the last one I will see. Enjoy your time on the board.

Too bad JG is not on this team…. He wasn’t better than Hooker or Milton. You have to crawl before you walk… walk before you run…. We will get there.
