I tired the first book as an audiobook. I couldn’t make it more than 2 hours. Maybe it’s a slow start but I couldn’t get into it. I’m curious what you think.

That sucks for you..It is a slow starter, but the insane character and world building is the draw of WoT, and if you don't dig that then you won't like it.

It pays off in so many huge and powerful moments though. A quick paced adhd story can never provide those to you.

Please give it the time it deserves...if you do you will be rewarded a hundred times over during the course if the story.

Also..this upcoming show is not really TWoT imo, so judge it on its own merits, but they have already changed so much that imo it will only have a small resemblance to the book story.
