He was and the more they see him the more likely they are to hit him, all it takes is a few hits to go from 7-0 to 7-4 real quick. We have fresh arms in the pen that have dominated this postseason, use them. This is game 6 of the WORLD SERIES with a 3-2 lead. Anyone questioning Snit taking him out is idioticHe was getting tired in his last inning IMO.
You could see it in his pitch placement. He could have kept going, but he WAS getting tired, and you have a hot Matzek ready to come in. Smart decision IMO.He was and the more they see him the more likely they are to hit him, all it takes is a few hits to go from 7-0 to 7-4 real quick. The timing could not be worse.
LSU and USC will fight it out for the top candidates.
Texas Tech and Washington State are already interviewing. TCU is about to find out where they sit on the totem pole, but TTU and WSU are their closest peers.
This isn't including what could happen when/if current active coaches bail for LSU or USC and the vacancies that those leave. If Penn State, Oregon, Ole Miss, Michigan State come open, TCU is well below those.
They're taking an unnecessary risk at the worst time. Maybe they like what they see across town at SMU and want to go that direction by hiring Dykes away. Or something that the public isn't privy to yet has surfaced. Either way, canning Gary now is ballsy.
One of the greatest memories of my life is thinking back to how unbelievably, indescribable elated, crazy, screaming happy my family and I were whenever Sid Bream slid into home plate.
It's good but in a different way, the pace, frenzy and physicality of hockey is like soccer met football and a fight broke out. I love it.
Baseball is much more cerebral. I love it too but it doesn't get the blood flowing like hockey for me anyway.
It also goes to show his decision to not throw the whole pen in game 5 was smart too.You could see it in his pitch placement. He could have kept going, but he WAS getting tired, and you have a hot Matzek ready to come in. Smart decision IMO.
