I belive this is the school in the area of the summers big flood and they have no stadium now. The check would be to help with flood recovery. The game was held at a neiboring town's stadium.

The town of Waverly and the high school were destroyed/damaged by the flash floods earlier this fall. They moved all their regular season games to away games after that, and couldn't host the playoffs. Neighboring counties and the schools are both on Hwy70 about 30-45 min apart.

spent 2 weeks recently back and forth from PckWck area doing what we could….they still have long way to go but their not quiters !
Waverly will return

I watched Dexter every Sunday with my mom for years. . .

I wonder how they are gonna tie old characters in, if it's gonna leave a lot of plot holes, etc.

They should really do a new "Married. . . with Children!"

That certainly explains a lot of why Braxton Burmeister ended up taking the job from him early last season, and why Hendon wasn't his normal self the rest of the season.

What a story yall... this is the stuff we don't see players and families go through that usually doesn't come to light.

Definitely have had a tough schedule so far, though "power ranking" is a bit misleading...that reads like "teams re-ranked once SOS is considered" which I believe FPI already does.

We are 27th in FPI. Extremely impressive in Y1. What's even wilder is our defensive efficiency is even better than offensive. Though I think they'd be closer to even if JM/HB weren't dragging it down. And just imagine had Coop, Tiyon, Cade been healthy. Our run game is really shaky - but when those 3 are in, it flips a switch.
