I was pretty much the same way. I knew I was a Vols fan and I knew I was a Titans fan. Half my friends were Braves and the other half Cards fans. I couldn't cheer for the Braves because they're in Georgia. I didn't want to cheer for the Cards because they were in Saint Louis and I hated the city of STL because of the Super Bowl.

So I liked the Orioles for a while because I liked Cal Ripkin Jr. Then I just decided I didn't really like baseball and didn't care (coming back to it now but don't have a pro team yet).

I didn't care about pro basketball, so I just chose the Grizzlies bc they're in TN. I keep up with the Celtics bc of Grant Williams.

Picking the Preds and Nashville SC was super easy. I went to Preds games when they were first established and terrible. Not a bandwagon local. Other than USMNT, the other soccer team is Chelsea - not bc of Pulisic - but because I was a huge Didier Drogba fan as a kid.

Other than a couple of games, we have traveled over a hour and a half, one-way, for each game, with a couple taking close to or over three hours. All the schools have been phenomenal. Dave Clawson being a mastermind at Wake Forest. Only team to score more that 35 in each game this year. Teams not knowing how to defend his delayed mesh point, but honestly I think our defense would be a bad matchup for them. Since our scheme focuses on getting into the backfield, I think they would disadvantage this O scheme but not sure.

Hell, they killed off one of his sons in the first season---really early in the first season. I don't think they have an ending for this series. They're already working on the sequel now---I think it's called 1881 or something like that. It goes back to be Dutton family beginning.

Something fishy...

Curles crew called the Miss State v Memphis game that resulted in MSU getting screwed and lost from poor calls.

Then they called OM vs Vols and we know how that went...

Now OM hosting 7-2 Liberty in Hugh Freeze's return to Oxford?

UGA defense went from allowing 20 ppg just last season to only 6.6 this year with many of the same guys?

With how prolific offenses are these days, there hasn't been a defense to allow fewer than 10 PPG in a decade...now these guys are allowing nearly half of the 2nd best defense this decade?

They hardly look the same (individual players). It takes a suspension of disbelief to believe...

They killed Lee in the first episode. The prequel is 1883 and it premiers 12/19. Never thought about it but killing off characters may just be baked into the cake of the show, especially since there is no book series.

The interwebs blames him for at least 2, possibly 3 Arkansas losses. One was to #1 Florida in 2009. That same year he cost #18 Georgia the game against #4 LSU due to a BS call late... noticing a trend?

Unranked Vols vs #15 Ole Miss (who was second in the West and could've contended for a playoff spot).

I don't love conspiracy theories, but it looks like the SEC preserving their top dogs at worst, and that crew affecting games for betting at best.
