Same here. Thought he would just ride out his final year being backup and thought he was going to be a waste of a scholly. lol
I made the same comment during the game. What was that all about?Even though I understand how bad a lot of the commentators are in our games, I usually don’t complain out loud about it but the fact that ESPN was showing highlights of the recent KY wins against UT while we were ahead in the 4th quarter was really lame. They never mentioned once that Stoops was 2-6 against UT before this game. Not to mention I guarantee that the number of pro UT viewers greatly outnumbered the pro KY. It just doesn’t make a ton of sense to alienate such a large audience like that.
That sequence where they were discussing Kentucky's options where the commentator lost track of the down and never really figured it out made me cringe. He rambled for about a minute that he wasn't sure they should try to get the first down and maybe just get a chunk of it.Yes, the crew itself was awful. I called them Bozo the Clowns in front of my 11 year old son. On the Levis diving TD, they were quick to call it a TD before the slow motion replay, which showed it as very close and maybe even wrist down a split second before ball crosses.
ESPN has gone way down. Production is terrible for games that aren’t true prime time.
Agree about the production. It's not like nobody knows we run fast and kept playing repays and missing the next play. Also the weird camera panning. Looked like it was the camera man's take your kid to work day.Yes, the crew itself was awful. I called them Bozo the Clowns in front of my 11 year old son.
