I haven’t seen many arguing he’s the best option. Other than Uncle Dobrucky. Most see the potential of Milton and hope he develops, but think Bailey might throw the ball better. All we’ve ever heard about HB is “he throws a catchable ball.” A continued complaint about Milton is his lack of touch. Doesn’t mean he’s not the best option or HB is. Milton brings a lot of other factors. I see people arguing HB might be a better thrower. Haven’t seen many serious/regular posters here actually arguing for benching Milton for HB..
This.We have all seen with our eyes that HB can read the field and throw a catchable ball after years of JG not doing that. Then we see Milton do what JG would have done. Some of the self-appointed football experts need to get off our jocks for asking wtf is going on.
I honestly think @LA Vol said it best. They’re giving HB the development year he didn’t get last year in hopes that Milton can be the guy this year.
It also interesting that Heup was calling pass plays against despite Bowling Green even when they were dropping eight.
I think Heup and Golesh were wanting to work on the passing game when it was clear that Bowling Green was overmatched, and Bowling Green wanted to prevent explosive plays and force UT to run the ball to shorten the game. Eventually Heup just obliged them and rammed the ball down their throat.

I’ve read where Bailey showed a strong arm at Elite 11 and where he won the “Best Touch” award, but can’t find any rankings for Velocity. Can you find it? Just curious. I’ve always thought HB just throws the ball as hard as it needs to be thrown and the arm strength thing is overrated.
