There's definitely a top tier of coaches (Kiffin, Franklin, Campbell, Fickell) and then the quality really starts to drop. If they want to go after a retiree, go ahead, but I don't think Bob Stoops is the answer. Are they really expecting someone in their 60s to go hard on the recruiting trail? I know Saban still does it, and Urban did when he was at OSU. However, Stoops retired for a reason, and I can't imagine he wants to walk back into the arena, especially with said arena crumbling from the flames of all the pissed jorts of the Florida fanbase.
USC and LSU are better jobs than Florida, and Auburn and Texas could make moves as well. Florida might be left with their hands clasped begging on Mark Stoops door for a perennial 8 win team.
