It was a BB gun. Sounds like this incident has been severely overcharged. Local cops must have thought he was a Vol.

I would venture to guess that a BB gun is not allowed on school property. The Georgia statute is wide-ranging and generally considers weapons, more than just firearms.

I know these aren’t the facts in this case, but you can commit an aggravated robbery with your finger in your jacket because you put the victim in fear of thinking you have a gun.

I contemplated buying one a few years ago. But, I couldn't justify the price when I could buy a Barnett for a few hundred cheaper.

Yeah, I'm not sure their product justifies the price compared to similar brands, but I've not really been around any other kind.

I shot one with a sniper package last year. I was blown away by everything about it. The speed of the bolt and precision of the aim is insane. Pretty fun to shoot with.

but I see everything out there from $200 all the way up to $2000.
Any recommendations? I’m hunting in thick woods in Kentucky and don’t need to worry much beyond 30 yards.

I guess it's like anything. I assume once you get to a certain standard of quality, the real difference is in which features you prefer and just how it feels to use it.

No one likes the word magazine. Magazines are little books that people buy because they want to learn about cosmetics, fashion, music, stare at boobies, or read as comics. Clips are anything you can stick in a gun that contains more than one bullet despite it driving you purists mad.

I would guess you could argue it and might find some middle ground. But it’s really the legislature.

I would think you wouldn’t want kids toting BB guns or air rifles around on campus. I don’t believe they are required to have the orange tips, and they aren’t easily identifiable. A BB is still a projectile. School properties have a lot of protection.

My wife bought me a Bear Constrictor last Christmas. I haven't hunted with it but did sight it in and shot it a bit. It is pretty impressive.
