They always say it’s the darkest right before dawn. Hopefully our darkest moment has passed in the form of Pruitt, and the dawn is here with Heupel. I questioned the hire, but I’m all aboard now! The red flags haven’t been popping up with him with his coaching abilities, and wow, what an unreal job of managing an extremely thin roster playing through the gauntlet of our schedule! I said it back when there was talk we were going to rest some guys that were pretty banged up against Mizzou, because the coaches thought they could win with who they had, and the same happened against SC, that Heupel is either even better than we think already or he will be called into heavy questioning over those moves. Well, he knew exactly what he and this staff could do with what they had and manage some injuries for other games. That’s impressive to me. I was all aboard after those moments. This season might be the quickest turnaround in overall program/fan morale I’ve ever seen.. what a crazy 180 from last year. We were in a dark dark place… even over the summer with the media and a lot of fans doubting CJH and staff. Seems like everybody is pretty much back onboard
I was onboard until he lost the 2nd half of the South Carolina game….. Now Nashvol thinks they have improved. They always say it’s the darkest right before dawn. One of my favorite moments from this year….. I believe it was the SC game…. My parents had come from Tennessee to watch my son play football at 1…. My dad and I stayed at the house to watch the beginning of the Tennessee game….. we didn’t have to leave until 12:45 bc the game was right down the street from us…. In 45 minutes….. we saw four Tennessee touchdowns before having to leave the house. They always say it’s the darkest right before dawn. Probably already answered, but you could take something like a brick, wrap it in aluminum foil and then drape the brisket across it. It will shrink while cooking, and you can remove the brick. So my brisket is about 6” too wide for my smoker.
Should I:
A. Cut it off
B. Tie it up
C. Spit on it and jam it in?
