I’ll be the first to admit, I laughed when I heard Sam Pittman was going to Arky. I thought he was going to be a career asst, aka Chief., I was so wrong and glad I was. I like Arkansas, they seem like the little brother.Morris was a bad culture and scheme fit for Arky and their type roster talent. Bad hire by the AD.
Despite the lack of actual OC experience, Pittman has the understanding of the game of an OC. Add in the players absolutely love the guy and will do anything he asks wherever he's been.
Watched a lot of coaching clinic video of him from his UNC assistant coaching days. He just knows football on both sides of the ball. Probably tops out with 9-10 wins in a good year at Arky due to the roster talent. But they should be very happy with that.
ExactlyMy theory: Tiyon had plans to be one and done and did not take care of his classes to start the semester. Especially after the early success.
After getting injured he likely got reports that he probably wouldn't get drafted and needed another year.
But.... he hadn't done his work, and now he doesn't have a choice but to transfer or declare anyway because he will be academically ineligible at the end of the semester.

It's been said, many times, he was not going to class and was not gonna be eligible next year. Since he would not be eligible next year at UT, he will not be eligible anywhere. A player has to be in good academic standing to transfer to another school from the portal.
Eight seconds left at the official end of the play yet UCF gets to run the clock out on a defensive interception that didn't happen? If I was USF's coach I'd be on the refs until they had to put me in cuffs.
That’s part of being a real coach, surrounding yourself with assistants that elevate yourself. Pruitt never seemed to be able to do that. He’s definitely benefiting from his staff this year.Soon as he loses Briles and/or Odom we’ll see if he’s able to really coach or benefiting from great coordinators.
I was really trying to figure out the explanation. It made zero sense. And even if the play did run it’s course there was still 4 seconds left
what the heck!!!
If they are hurt bad enough to stop play, then they shouldn't be on the field anyway. This bullcrap needs to stop.Having a player sit for two series due to an injury is the definition of punishing players for legitimate injuries. That's over-reactive and dumb tbh.
You also don't want players trying to play through injuries they have no business playing through because they're afraid to get punished or cost their team significantly over a badly jammed or broken finger, tweaked ankle, etc.
We don't need to go overboard on punishment because of the faking. We have to strike a balance.
and blowing multiple double digit leads...................Nebraska with another 7 point loss today. They have an uncanny ability to lose 1 score games...by god. Imagine being 3-9 and yet never having lost once by double digits
