Can’t believe all the posts about not enjoying being with family during the holidays. 😳 We has a ball together. I laughed until I was hoarse. The grands ran around chasing my daughter through the house while screaming at the top of their lungs. I said it was the “sound of happiness” to which my nephew said it was the “sound of birth control” lol.
Not what I said, exactly. I love my family. I love them dearly. I love to see them, but I also love when everyone goes home. I'm not a "crowd" person. The more people I'm around, the more anxious I get. So when everyone leaves, I decompress. I was trying to be humorous about it, not suggest I have some dislike for my family. It's just easier for me not to deal with them all at once.

This kind of sucks for miami

If Campbell stays at Iowa State then Kiffin can name his price and job

If the Miami job opens up, I could see them taking a look at Mario Cristobal as well. He's an alum that played for Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson, and played on two of their NC teams. It might be hard to outbid Phil Knight, but if you add in his ties, they might be able to sway him.

So with this Evans news coming at us out of left field, are there any other surprise players that might hit the portal?

If Miami can get Mario Cristobal they win the off-season.

Problem is, Oregon to Miami is absolutely a downgrade. Ole Miss to Miami is lateral at best.

Evans actually did enter the transfer portal…he’s holding himself out from playing, not the staff.

So confused by these guys, do they think coming to a SEC program and college isn’t going to be tough? You have responsibilities to take care of so you can earn the chance to play.
Something is driving this decision,
1. He truly believes he’s NFL material (probably does somewhat on the believing part) regardless if he puts in the work.
2. Git. No school, no play. (Probably)
3. Homesick (don’t buy it)
4. He thought he had a true road map to the NFL without really doing the school part and injuries got in the way. One and done on college career. Git.

I think 1, 2 and 4 drove this.

Not sure I agree about Oregon to Miami being a downgrade. The PAC12 struggles to compete with the other Power 5 conferences. Miami has a lot to offer the "right" coach. A strong recruiting base, a popular history that Cristobal is directly tied to, and, like the PAC12, a conference ripe for the taking. They could easily follow the same path as Clemson if they get the right guy.

I think Dan Mullen would be a great fit at Washington. Sorry if already discussed, been busy traveling and just got home. I know Mullen is goofy but Florida just chews up and spits out coaches. I still think Mullen is a very solid coach.
I want them to take Harsin so I can watch Auburn burn.

I really hope Hyatt gets a turn to star in this offense. Will always appreciate him after he stopped to give my 18-month old daughter a fist bump during the Vol Walk before a game earlier this year… and waited while I picked her up and turned her around because she wasn’t sure what was happening. I’m sure he’s not reading this, but it was a great moment and really appreciated that (her brothers thought it was cool too!).
