Fickell only wants one Job and it’s currently occupied by 42 year old Ryan Day who’s doing a good job. Otherwise unless Day bolts for a NFL opportunity I think we’ll see Fickell be Chris Petersen 2.0 at Cincinnati and that’s pretty cool. Hope they can continue to add in the infrastructure around him to build the program up

Did I not tell everybody on here when it happened it would change the sport big time? Folks kept blowing it off, saying only the big names would make any money and it would not be all that much.

Wrong.

The NCAA's scope had been reduced. CFB is becoming a higher paid version of the minor leagues of the NFL. A hybrid that has going to classes involved. Most kids will take the education seriously and walk out with some good money to start the lives with while others will move on to the pros. Then there will be the mercenary players for hire through the portal as free agents.

As CJH said - new age. Doesn't matter whether we like it or not. It will be what it will be.

As all the Meyer guys move on, they will see that Day is no Meyer. Fickell may still be available for the upgrade.
