Lol, I’d say it’s the opposite. This gives Frost a better chance to win. AM was absolutely horrible. Frost needs to hammer the portal.
AM is Frosts Gaurantano...he is just another coach/program killer. It is weird to me that Frost hasn't been able to find a good QB. I was really hoping he would make it and bring Nebraska back....instead he has just buried them deeper.

I don't know. Have no clue to his identity. The pitch included an OG, RT, WR and QB. "We got" preceded those abbreviations.

Ahhhhhhhh so by pics of the pitcher you meant pictures of the person pitching the package. Not calling the QB pitcher as slang. I thought you saw a pic of the QB.

I gotcha. Sounds like we’re about to pillage some team like Oklahoma did us last year.

I'd hope. It was supposed to woo this one player and help with another. I don't think scrubs would suffice in that effort.

Lol...how do you think that machine operates? Ask anybody that has ever lived in Alabama. I think during the eighties and nineties through the mid aughts that we were competitive with anybody when it came to..unofficial money...being spent to procure talent, but we have not kept up with the big boys since then. When the Bama boosters finally got sick of losing to us they kicked it into a gear we have never come close to matching.

Wish I could remember the read where the investigative journalist tracked their entire system. Right thru the banks they basically own and the entire "cleaning" process.

Insane how thorough the entire process was.

Found this:

"Tennessee NIL started on July 1, 2021, per the NCAA Interim Policies. With the passage of House Bill 1351, Tennessee State NIL laws will take effect on January 1, 2022."

HB1351 still says Jan 1, 2022. Just wondering if that is still holding some things up.

I know nothing about (the) law, but being legal in general may be a different thing than the law empowering the university to assist. Analogous to decriminalizing vs legalizing.

Sorry if someone already linked.

"Following the passage of the state's NIL bill, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signed it into law on Wednesday. The law was originally supposed to take effect on July 1, 2022, but a late amendment changed that date to July 1, 2021. Now, student-athletes within the state are just weeks away from benefiting from this legislation."

Tennessee changes effective date of new NIL legislation

Edit: it's all irrelevant now. All state laws were enacted to bypass NCAA rule. NCAA changed rule June 29, making all NCAA athletes eligible for NIL and state laws useless. UT website now lists July 21.
That's why we already have players with NILs.
