I never said I held it over head or that he had anything to do with it, he’s a POS because of the reports of how he left his last job. It doesn’t matter, and I’m glad for his family’s sake he wasn’t the cause of the incident, but it will follow him regardless. The point.

With over 2500 players currently in the transfer portal, everyone wants to know who’s Tennessee going after, who are they getting. As Austin noted Wednesday night, Tennessee is not going to be a factor for Jahmyr Gibbs. As for others, an offensive tackle, defensive linemen make the most sense. We don’t believe there’s anything real hot with the Vols right now in the portal. In other words, we don’t think Tennessee is close to landing anyone and we think they are still very much in the evaluation process of guys. That doesn’t mean they haven’t had conversations with guy as they have. Certainly there will be some staff conversations about transfer guys over the weekend as everyone is in town for the official visit weekend.

Def gonna take some time but they’ll land a few guys from the portal. The amount of evaluation they are having to do there is a lot I’m sure. I hadn’t given that a ton of thought but damn that’s a lot of kids and it’s not slowing down. Thanks.

This guy is a stud. I have a hard time believing that Beasley was a better option. I would guess it had more to do with the off the field incident earlier in the year as well as maybe just not knowing the defense as well.
