I think the committee will want to avoid multiple teams from same conference if they have a path to do so, and they are supposed to give significant weight to conference champs.

Then the committee has to choose between:

11-2 Baylor
11-2 Oregon

10-2 Ole Miss
10-2 Ohio St

Michigan probably gets in over ND via their win over tOSU. Either OkSU or bama. Tough call, SEC is a tougher conference, but Okie St has a conference title.

Would be hilarious for Georgia to lose to ANY of those teams. I really want Notre Dame to win after Kelly left so the LSU people have a meltdown too.

I think a ND win would do the opposite of creating a meltdown for LSU fans.
I'm sure they'd see it like a crystal ball of where they are headed.
I'd swap the OkState loss to Baylor and stick them in. Would love to see UGA lose to them. . . or anyone for that matter.

I don't see it. There's a very small chance that happens. But Okie State is the only 1 loss team that could compare to UGA's wins. Notre Dame isn't close. UGA has beaten 20, 22, and 23 ranked teams, while Okie State would have beaten Baylor twice and OU. Also, the eye test does matter. Okie State barely won their 3 OOC games, and UGA hasn't given up more than 17 points.

Why does everyone think this?? Their highest quality win is Clemson. But everyone has been brainwashed to believe they're the greatest team ever. They have a really good defense and that's it. If the other teams win their games and they lose, then Georgia does not deserve to make the playoffs.

Nope. But speaking in certainty’s is craziness. No one on here is on the playoff committee and recent losses weigh more on their minds than old losses. Look at Ohio state and the playoffs. My point is no one knows what is going to happen.

I'm not sure if their Offense is really good, or it's simply benefiting from their d quality. Their offense has stats like a very above average O.
