Re-reading the pages from the first 3 days of the Heupel hire is quite amusing. So much negativity was swirling.

I'm proud to say I had one "huh?" nega post...ran to look at his stats...and went full Heupel Disciple on the spot

good lord, it seems like every day this week, major players are entering the transfer portal left and right... if we don't come out of this with upgrades at every position of need with what UT has to offer and the way we are trending, there will be MAJOR red flags on our recruiting ability... Guess we will standby and see what happens. I really hope we've got the staff to recruit--- they certainly can coach, but let's see where we come out on the back end of this thing...

I think it's hilarious Oregon wants Chip Kelly back. It makes no sense, but it's hilarious. He got them put on probation before he jumped to the NFL (and was hit with a show-cause himself though it didn't matter since he jumped to the NFL). It's not like he's torn it up at UCLA.

Thoughts on Simone Biles getting Time magazines “Athlete of the Year” precisely because she did pullout of her events in the Olympics.

For me, I never question what she had to do as an individual, but a) that doesn’t make her a hero, she’s just a person and people all have issues they must deal with and b) this is some sanctimonious crap from a media source. You’re telling me there’s not ONE athlete that deserves this award for an actual ATHLETIC feat?

As well as possible, thanks.
Learned the best foods that I can eat and how to eat them.
Good months and bad on the weight but have adapted to putting it back on just as fast.

Last trip to the hospital was the accidental, self attempted leg amputation haha, not the pancreas. So yay, I think

The Dooley hire hit me hard. It actually affected my mood for a few days. I had just talked to my brother about the UT coaches search when I saw that it was Dooley. All I could bring myself to do was text him "We are Vandy now."

I cheered him on later because... what else could you do?
