Oregon intends to hire UCLA's Chip Kelly as its next head football coach, sources have confirmed.
It was originally reported by ESPN that Oregon was making a push to bring back Chip Kelly (

It was reported earlier in the day that Oregon asked for permission to speak to Kelly, and since then various sources have indicated that Oregon is proceeding in its effort to re-hire the former Oregon coach.
The response from Kelly is unknown. He was on the road in Arizona recruiting for UCLA, but conspicuously lacking a UCLA shirt while in the home of five-star defensive lineman
Anthony Lucas of Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral.
Sources have indicated that negotiations between UCLA and Kelly to work out a new contract have hit an impasse. Kelly's original five-year contract is entering its final year beginning January 15th. One source said that, while Oregon was moving forward to secure Kelly, UCLA hasn't put up much resistance.
