So let’s back track..

for point one, we have one of the most explosive offenses in college football. We have plenty of room on the depth chart as we have no sure fire #1. So unless he just doesn’t like Jerry Mack, that ain’t it.

for point 2, he definitely fits in this offense and you told us just a few days ago that Evans was a model teammate at TCU. So that ain’t it either.

so there’s either off field stuff that we aren’t aware of that doesn’t line up with what we were told about him having no issues at TCU, or it’s something else.

Because BY is not a good example given he was already on campus getting rave reviews before he started making $Millions$ from NIL deals, I'm not saying you're completely wrong I just think this money slinging for unproven HS seniors will slow down a little when these business owners don't see the return on investment, that's all I'm saying...

They don't do it for (literal) return on investment. They do it to pay players to come play for their team in hopes of winning. Sure some won't pan out, but enough will to keep them trying in my opinion.

I actually think RG is being very selective in who he's trying to land on the DL.

One reason being, we've got a lot of big DT style guys on roster, most with lots of years left (Omari Thomas - So., Elijah Simmons - RS So., Da'Jon Terry - RS So., Kurott Garland - RS Jr.) plus a few other smaller guys still on roster in Dominic Bailey - RS Fr. & Amari McNeil - Fr
Another reason being with the NIL deals and all that mess it's a little easier to find plug & play guys in the portal. He had great success grabbing Terry & Tremblay and I think he's willing to go that route. He's been in the game a long time probably knows guys on staff everywhere and with some college tape can likely get better evaluations out of the portal guys

And my last thought is that RG may well have his eyes set on bigger fish, cause I don't think this class will have a ton of DL in it. Jordan Phillips right now and then Josephs is more of an OLB/edge guy. Based on numbers may only see us take another 2-4 DL guys (and could be we wait for January to get 1 or 2 of them).

Cause the kid out of Albany won't be signing, he'll just enroll in January wherever he picks.
