It’s out there from the source. Zach Evans met with Golesh at NPA. At the time, Jahmyr Gibbs was interested also in UT. Golesh’s pitch stated that we have our RT, OG, QB and WR. He said if we have the OL he’s ours. Saw pics of Golesh and Evans in discussion.
Thanks! And which piece did we lose that caused Evans to say no?

Also @chargervol if ya wanna give me an email I'll hit you up. I've been working on learning this same sort of stuff myself the last few years so I'd be happy to help share what I've learned with him or even share some resources.
This is what being a Vol is all about. Y'all rock! (By Y'all I mean 99% of you 🤣🤣🤣)

Got a serious question. Today is my 14th day since COVID and have been doing great for over a week. Today after being out I took a shower and barely made it back to my recliner. Moments later I started having chills and about an hour later 100.1 Temp. Have any of you guys heard this before and what the heck do I do? My wife did the same thing. Little discouraged after battling and getting better.

Make sure you don’t have influenza Am.
Could have jumped in with your immune system beaten down by Covid.

Xofluza is awesome if you do test positive for flu.

As it should of. It should of also been ruled down per the actual rule. Where the slide is “initiated at the spot of the ball is marked” so he should of been down where he initiated the fake slide.

The fake slide is an issue because that rule was put in to protect players who have given themselves up. Faking a slide puts people in danger of getting injured.

So yes, that should have been implemented right away.
Agreed, but it happened one time all season, seems odd that would be the single rule change that gets made immediately. Faking injuries has been happening hundreds of times.

Napier pulling in the low rated kids he has relationships with. Meanwhile USC hired a coach thats bringing 5 stars with him. Very different hires.

Very strange how Napier has handled their current commits. Some highly rated kids made a commitment to the university. Those are hard to get and even harder to get back once you've lost them.

Heupel prioritized our current commitments when he came in if i remember correctly and held that class together fairly well considering. I remember him talking about that in his opening press conference. Very different approaches.

We will continue to wait and see.

Billy’s a “Thad”

Not gonna lie, but the nerd in me did like this and took it back several times, just because I wanted to like it multiple times. He certainly was a bright spot this season. Considering last year, how much more bright he could have shown If he had a different football staff to guide him.

It’s weird - if you look at uscjr’s commitments - they have SIX kids listed as at safety committed. Wtf?

Ahh, of course.. the old 2 DL, 5 safety, defense.

May wanna check on Beamer, think Heup broke him.

Edit: just saw UTM's 2-1-8 post😂

We landed good transfers last year from the portal. We are going to finish top 15 this year in recruiting and have a good start to the 23 class. I think we are doing fine as of now
Not being difficult and not going to complain if/when we end up with a top 15 class. The problem is when 6,7, or 8 SEC teams finish above us we aren't really gaining any traction.

Florida has made hires like this for a while. It hasn't really worked since Urban but I guess that one was such a big success that it really seems like they're taking for granted all the success they've had over the past 2 decades as an AD. Which to me is odd given that Foley has been retired for a few years now and Stricklin seems to have been brought in with the intention of hiring Dan Mullen when/if they needed to. Now that Mullen is gone they still have Stricklin but he hires a guy well known to Louisiana and Mississippi people but not so much to everyone else.

IDK if Stricklin really knows how to make things work at UF and have the feeling that he doesn't or the drama surrounding Mullen's exit and the hiring of Napier doesn't happen. Napier is thought well of but he's always felt more like a hire that OM or MSU make rather than Florida. But what is really mind-boggling to me is that they're paying him ~$7.4 mil a year. That's nuts considering his background or lack thereof.

For as much as gators will remind us of Urban being from a smaller school, Urban had a ton more success to back up that hire and didn't get nearly as much. I'm just wondering what the hell is going on down there. I hope it's as chaotic as numbers like that for a relatively 'meh' hire make it look.
