So long as Hooker stays healthy next year we should be better than 7 or 8 wins. We will have plenty of veterans. the year after that is a complete mystery however.

I sort of thought next year would be a mystery. HH 100% helps - but I'm thinking more defense. Aren't we losing a good bit of veterans on the DL? Of course...our LBs really can't be any worse is an upside. Losing AT hurts a bit. Velus...Tillman(?), not sure about Payton...does he have another year? OL will have to fill up the Cade gap and we haven't recruited there well in a few years. RBs are meh. TEs could improve.

Schedule is even better than this year though (no way Pitt is as good and LSU will ofc be solid, but not top 10 good as Ole Miss). UK could be good again though and Mizzou and USC found their footing. Not sure those 2 will be pushovers. 7-5 feels about right, but 8-4 would be nice to overachieve a bit. I had us at 6.6 wins last year. I'm feeling 7.1 for next season...way too early ofc. Grabbing a big time transfer or 2 sure would help...maybe a big time LB and RB and OT...

I'm as optimistic about 2022 as I was about 2016. I know 2016 kind of ended with a fart, but I feel like 2022 could be sneakily special.

Can someone ask AP or Callahan if we are speaking to Diabute? He and Banks would be a great starting ILB core. Hopefully, we land Tolan and have him, Beasley, Mohan, and Willis for depth.

The coaches elected to come to Nashville and meet with him and discuss everything. Everything was good except Spyre. There's no way TCU should make a better offer than UT. Ole Miss I can understand they're SEC and Lane know how to mk it happen based on his experience as a lead recruiter and ROY at USC and Bama plus they have guys like Matthew McCaughey and oil guys who don't mind spending to win. TCU a Christian private school spanked UT and Spyre. Like to be very serious Zach don't care about free Gus chicken. He has to help make sure granny is OK.
