I see that others saw what Lane said. It is hypocritical, but what he said is true.
Oh golly gee Lane, they can just go leave at any time they want? Like...in the middle of the night?

And chase more money? Or...their dream job?! I'm sure you can't even imagine ya orangey lookin ****boy 😭😭

Confirms my suspicions about the recruiting flop this year. If we can’t beat Missouri and Kentucky at the NIL game, we definitely ain’t doing it right.

I don’t believe Mizzou has anything to do with NIL. Several of their top recruits are local. There is a RB from El Paso. Lol.

We all know what’s going on at UK.

All in favor of tossing @Weezer into the abyss....

Some of these odds are hilarious. Spencer Rattler at 7/1 after his HORRIBLE year at Oklahoma and now transferring to a team with skill players that pale in comparison to the Sooners.

JT Daniel couldn't beat out Stetson Bennett, but he's got 18/1 odds?

And DJ Ukelele is trash. Did they watch that Clemson offense this year?

But, Hendon Hooker, is 40/1. Ha. Okay.
Haha...I find those odds awfully terrible as well. Everyone knows Heisman actually means...you have to be on a top TEAM and that clearly isn't happening in Beamerland.

But Rattler hardly had an "AWFUL" year. He was a little over 2:1 td:int (11/5 in limited play ofc) and 7.9 ypa, 75% completion and 155 qbr. 27th QBR in the country can hardly be considered awful, though I'd definitely say well below the absurdly high "OU standard" they've built. That said, he should be 40/1 and HH should be 8/1.

Right there with you on JTD and DJU. Neither has shown anything in that realm and could be 40/1 if not worse...they're just surrounded by great talent. More proof it's hardly an individual award...just the best player among the playoff teams who all have elite talent around em...and that's not to say those teams don't likely have the best player in many years, but surely not EVERY year lol.

The smarter thing would have been to hire the 13-0 Scott Frost, who's elevated Nebraska all the way from 4-8 to 3-9 in only 4 years!
But but but UCF was 13-0 the previous 10 years and he wrecked that ultra successful long-term program 😂

People seem to forget they were 0-12 just 2 years prior and a .500 team the year after that. It was hardly built for sustained success. Just a hit and run. And besides that, he still went what? 12 or 13-1? 8 points from being undefeated. Then a 3 loss season, all losses being verrry close (7 total points from being undefeated...). Then the covid season where half his defense opted out...yet his offense was putting out 43 ppg and was as good as ever lol. As if he could control half his defense sitting out...even then they lost all but 1 game extremely close and were probably a 1-2 loss team without sitouts.

But easier to not look too deep...
