When you say both kidneys taken out, you mean like they had a transplant or something? You only have two kidneys, and you've got to have at least one.And yet I know people who get whatever they want and resell them. And I know people that have severe pain, some dying, who can’t get anything or enough to help. I had a friend who had both kidneys taken out who was sent home from the hospital two days later and told to take Tylenol. There’s always going to be people who abuse things and people who make a profit from it. Hate that good people get punished. (I do understand it is not the good doctors’ fault.)
The NCAA needs to crush Texas A&M.I go to other boards in the sec and they are freakin out over the same things. Auburn fans saying they are not paying enough, LSU fans seem worried they are falling behind. And some at A@M worried they are going to fast and maybe throwing away to much money and not going to get there desired result. And they also have now got the NCAA at their door. The NCAA needs to make it clear where the lines are with NIL with regard to how a University and it’s employees can be involved. GBO!
is HITR some type of insider? I promise I’m not taking a shot. Just genuinely curious.I feel like the best we can do TOMORROW would be: (in order of probability)
Justin Williams
Gabriel Jacas
Keionte Scott (believing AP and HITR)
James Pearce
Tyre West
Demario Tolan
Take out both West and Tolan still locks us in the top 20 and close to top 15
lol now i have to type out @HoleInTheRoofis HITR some type of insider? I promise I’m not taking a shot. Just genuinely curious.

And the argument about "established long-term relationships" doesn't hold up. Vandy and Auburn's coaching staffs have been in place the same length of time as ours. A&M and LSU don't even HAVE a DC right now! We had better seasons than ALL of these teams and we've had our coaching staff in place the same length or longer.
That’s what I thought. But they took out both and he went to dialysis 3 days a week. Unfortunately, he died in a car accident on the way to dialysis. He was on the list for a transplant, but he was far down even though in his forties because there was something genetic that runs in his family. His started earlier than most family members because of those before mentioned drugs that has been the topic of discussion. When you say both kidneys taken out, you mean like they had a transplant or something? It's just not possible they removed both kidneys and didn't replace them. Maybe both his kidneys failed, which caused him to have to have dialysis, but without one to transplant, they wouldn't have removed them. And as someone who's gone through a liver transplant, you don't have that kind of major surgery and get released two days later. I think someone was feeding you a whopper, and it wasn't from Burger King. That’s what I thought. But they took out both and he went to dialysis 3 days a week. I had the same reaction. It happened. Why would I make up something that horrible? Are do you think I was mistaken when my friend had to quit work and stay home with him just to get him to dialysis and take care of him?I apologize in advance because I respect you and your posts, but there is no scenario where anybody would have both kidneys removed and be sent home. Not here, not in any country in the world. It just is not possible.
My best friend’s husband. I lived through it with her. It's just not possible they removed both kidneys and didn't replace them. We should ask Doc. I'm no doctor, just a guy who has had a transplant, but I don't think what you're saying is actually possible. I don't think you are lying, but I do think you were given incorrect information. My best friend’s husband. I lived through it with her.
I've never heard of that before. It just sounds crazy. But if they removed both his kidneys how was he still low on the transplant list? I absolutely could be wrong, which is why I asked Doc, but it just sounds out there. And to be released from the hospital two days later? I just can't fathom that knowing my own experience. Most liver transplant patients stay in the hospital a week to 10 days after transplant. I was in a bit longer. It just screams of some form of malpractice if they really released him so quickly. But I don't know.
Trust me I thought there was no way he could live, and if he did it would not be long. But he was going on several years. He had to go to dialysis 3X which took all day then he was tired the next day. They got him hooked up on something he could do at home at night which worked pretty good for a while. He got an infection though and spent weeks in Vanderbilt so they stopped that. They said he was low on the list because whatever that genetic disorder was (which I cannot remember of course) would cause another kidney to also fail although they didn’t know how long it would be. He has 3 cousins in their 60s who have gotten transplants in the last few years though. His just progressed so quickly because of the drug use in his 20s. I will have to ask her to be sure about the number of days but it was ridiculous and much less than a week. Although he ended up back in the ER because they damaged his sciatic nerve during surgery. I try to not complain about my health problems!I've never heard of that before. It just sounds crazy. But if they removed both his kidneys how was he still low on the transplant list? My dad had to go to dialysis 3x a week. He was born with only one kidney to begin with, but it quit functioning when his liver got bad. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis before he was, and we wouldn't have even known he had cirrhosis if not for me reading one of his medical reports. For some reason, the doctors didn't think to tell us. Because of all of his other health issues, he had a pacemaker and only the one kidney that quit working, the said he wasn't a candidate for a liver transplant. Well his cirrhosis metastasized into liver cancer, and we lost him not long after. It wasn't quite a year after that when my own cirrhosis put me in the hospital. I went in on my birthday. My family had me a birthday cake baked and I never even got a piece. Spent a little over a week at UT MedCenter before they took me to Vanderbilt by ambulance. Once I got there it was a waiting game for a liver to become available. But I got one. Spent like two weeks in the regular hospital recovering before being transferred to their rehab hospital. All told, I went into the hospital on May 18th and finally got out on July 3rd. But even then, I had to stay in Nashville to be monitored. Kept getting put back in for various things. It was October 21st (ironically my dad's birthday) when I finally got to come home to Knoxville. Then I fell and broke my back a month later, lol. When it comes to health problems, I have an abundance, but I'm still here, so that counts for something.Trust me I thought there was no way he could live, and if he did it would not be long.
