I quit them all....meth-heroin-alchohol-marijuana-cigarettes...the same week. It is hard for me to say at the time what was worse because it was all thrown in together, but when all was said and done nicotine was the hardest because the cravings for tobacco were there long after all the other withdrawals were over...and it was in my face EVERYWHERE I went, other than when at home I could not avoid it.

Still kind of in shock we landed Tyre West. With Omari Thomas, Da’jon Terry, Elijah Simmons and Jordan Phillips - we’re gonna be stout in the middle for years to come.

We've still got a ways to go to compete for titles, but this class helps in getting us closer.

I recall at different points during that miserable stretch from 2010 - 2014, we hadn't signed a 4 star defensive tackle out of high school in ages; our best running backs would get tackled from behind in the open field; at one point, the fastest guy on the team was the punter; we were desperately pulling third string kickers out of fraternity houses to fill out a game day roster, etc.

I'm so glad those days are long behind us.

Still can’t believe the Hunter switch. I can see a ton of NIL money being available for a HBCU program that is successful. Lots of potential that has historically been undervalued imho.
Will it be worth it in the long-term? I'm sure the $ didn't eclipse what others could offer by a enough to sacrifice playing p5 ball. Now he's at a program with lesser facilities, less experienced coaches, and playing against inferior competition.

His development will suffer, compared to his peers at bigger programs and it could ultimately cost him many more millions in the long-term.
