Let's see if people put their money where their mouth is. I'd be surprised if it raises over 250k.

You do realize that if booster's go through the 1951 club then it's going to be harder for it to look like they were just paying kids and more like it's coming from NIL right?

I understand completely. I've explained my theory on this already. The players who have performed above average and are looking to step up are entering the portal now, before the Spring semester. The players who enter the portal after the Spring semester will be mostly players that didn't win the starting position during Spring practice. This isn't last year where the new transfer rule was passed late in the process. The better talent will be hitting the portal during this cycle, not the cycle after the Spring semester.
It’s a theory.

take a lap

Maybe with Verse going to FSU, you ought to take a lap?

Seriously though, we need to upgrade our defense pronto and it's not happening... the Verse decision is unfortunate... until we start to see some portal pickups, I'm gonna leave my running shoes in the closet...

Didn’t someone on here say they released some geckos in their house years ago and sees them about every couple years. They eat all the bugs, sounds like something @nicksjuzunk would do. 🦎
I have had to capture or kill 3 or more Tokay geckos in our house. They are incredibly hard to capture and meaner than a hornet. I think I’ve taken the machete to two of them.

If any of you guys (or family members) are on Facebook, here is the link to Spyre Sports Facebook page. There are lots of pictures there with athletes and local businesses who are NIL partners. These are mostly small deals but they support multiple sports. What I learned is that I need to get a "Velus burger"!

I recently heard an interview on ESPN Radio with Deon Sanders. He spent a good portion speaking on the recent recruiting success and his thoughts on moving up the coaching ranks. But when the interview was closing, he stopped them to promote M. Wideman. He said that he was a good receiver and they were lucky to steal him from UT but that his real talent was on the basketball court. He felt that he could leave school now and be signed as a free agent in the NBA. Deon kept bragging about how ELITE Wideman was at basketball, but admitted that Wideman's passion was football. He didnt mention his ceiling in football.

I think that’s where the connection is with Prime and Malachi. Bc Prime was an incredible baseball player but Football was his love.
I heard John Smoltz on a podcast say Deion was the best player he’d ever played with and it’s a shame that he loved & chose football 1st. It blew me away when I heard him say it Bc I knew Deion was good in baseball but for Smoltzy to verbalize that. Wow.
